As you can tell I haven’t been doing shit lately on the sites. It’s probably not going to pickup soon either. I just haven’t felt like making nothing lately. I’m usually fucked up when I make graphics and stuff and i quit all the shit that does it so I don’t know when I’ll be i the mood again.

Anyways I decided awhile ago I’m gonna let most of the sites run out and expire with the domains. The only ones I plan on keeping is gaiyuki.net, rank-it.net, and anime-rank-it.net. The topsites are easy to manage and require little work except when changing layouts and that’s not gonna be happening for months so nothing to worry about. Gaiyuki on the other hand is my main blog where I talk about the stuff I watch and whether its good or not, I too have been slacking on that one too. Just haven’t been watching anything lately so nothing to report on really. I’m sure once the rest are shut down and I only have Gaiyuki to really work on then I’ll do more, and I’ll be over the “writers block” I have.

That will also give me the time i need to make graphics and layouts for people when they need them. Also if anyone is interested in the layouts up on any of my sites right now I can easily modify and hook you up with a good layout for $5-$10. You know how to get a hold of my if you want something so just ask. I’m also gonna try and set up the free themes and down-loadable themes section.

I finally made a sweet layout for rank-it.net. Forever I’ve just been using the anime.rank-it.net and didn’t use main part of the domain. For a couple days now though I’ve been working hard on getting my new topsite up and running, and it finally is. It’s a topsite for all kinds of sites out there. Hopefully over next couple weeks I’ll start getting plenty of new members from all different genres of sites.

I’m gonna work on getting the screen shot and info up in my portfolio, I’ll just update this post when I do most likely.

I hate when I finally start getting good hits from a topsite or start rising in the ranks and then an owner decides to change things. Like at top101animesites where I started using an animated banner featuring some clothed girls with no nudity or anything, but because I’m pulling in more hits then anyone else on the list they take my banner down with no warning and put their shitty little 88×31 button up in it’s place. Isn’t that a little rude or is it just me. I noticed a couple other banners were taken down from other sites as well that had anime girls on them. These were primarily animated banners with girls though, so maybe it’s because big file due to long animations. So I made another banner real quick that isn’t animated and had less girls on it and we’ll see if it stays up, if not I’ll be writing some e-mails. There’s no reason the banner i have now isn’t acceptable so if it gets changed then it’s ridiculous. Could be other members contacted the owner and complained about our methods.Don’t blame me people are more attracted to anime girls on a banner, so I’m punished for smart marketing?
