Anyways I decided awhile ago I’m gonna let most of the sites run out and expire with the domains. The only ones I plan on keeping is gaiyuki.net, rank-it.net, and anime-rank-it.net. The topsites are easy to manage and require little work except when changing layouts and that’s not gonna be happening for months so nothing to worry about. Gaiyuki on the other hand is my main blog where I talk about the stuff I watch and whether its good or not, I too have been slacking on that one too. Just haven’t been watching anything lately so nothing to report on really. I’m sure once the rest are shut down and I only have Gaiyuki to really work on then I’ll do more, and I’ll be over the “writers block” I have.

That will also give me the time i need to make graphics and layouts for people when they need them. Also if anyone is interested in the layouts up on any of my sites right now I can easily modify and hook you up with a good layout for $5-$10. You know how to get a hold of my if you want something so just ask. I’m also gonna try and set up the free themes and down-loadable themes section.

I’m gonna work on getting the screen shot and info up in my portfolio, I’ll just update this post when I do most likely.

Then you have topsites like the anime100.com network that claims to be the “undisputed largest anime topsite” there is. Well when you don’t delete inactive members and have been around 10+ years you should be big. To bad they barely get enough members sending hits to fill up the first page. Then they have the nerve to not allow other topsites to join and advertise because there worried their members might realize how shitty they are. Hell my topsite sends as many hits to members as anime100 and I’ve been around about a year. Another one is topsites that don’t allow animated banner or banners over like 20-30kb, that’s like nothing to work with. Plus anyone with internet should be able to load animated banner, even 10-20 of them, perfectly fine. That’s why you limit banners to the members that earn them and let them be animated. Don’t hate on sites because they’re good at marketing, just get better yourself or hire some help. :p

I’ve just been in the anime community a long time, longer then most of the webmasters in it now, and just because I don’t have any of the most popular sites doesn’t mean I don’t know what’s going on and see the changes in the community and see the assholes. I also don’t like sites or people claiming to be the best when they clearly aren’t.

Lyrics from Lil Wayne songs if anyone’s wondering. I’m gonna try and get the other myspace layouts I’ve made up for free use soon too. If anyone has some ideas for lyric/text graphics or anything just leave a comment.

I have the new layout up in the portfolio, I also put up the screen shot for this layout on CSD now too, for future viewing when this layout has changed. On a side note im working on a new layout for here, but it’s going to be done slowly since it’s a new design I’ve never done before and want it to be perfect to try and get some more clients. Up the quality and up the cash also so I have to try and make some nice new stuff.
